In the latest beta version of Apple Music 2.6.0 for Android, Apple has opened up the Apple Music app for testing with Android Auto. While most Android users probably tend to use Google Play Music or Spotify for their music streaming, Apple Music does have over 50 million subscribers.
With the recent announcement that Apple will allow Google Maps and Waze to be used with CarPlay it’s refreshing to see Apple looking to integrate more into other platforms like Android Auto. Now we’ll just need to wait and see if Google/Apple will allow for Apple Music integration into the Google Home ecosystem.
